Job Board Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Job Board you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the Job Board. If you use the Job Board on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Employer Responsibilities

If you post a job or manage applications, you agree that you will:

• Provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading job postings, including role, location, and compensation details where required by law.
• Conduct hiring lawfully and in compliance with all applicable employment, labor, and anti-discrimination laws.
• Not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
• Handle applicant data responsibly, using it only for legitimate hiring purposes, limiting access to authorized personnel, and retaining it no longer than permitted by your configured retention settings and applicable law.
• Keep any voluntary self-identification (EEO) data segregated from hiring decisions, as described in the Applicant Privacy Notice.
• Promptly honor applicant data requests (such as deletion) that you are legally required to fulfill.

3. Applicant Responsibilities

If you apply to a job, you agree that you will:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your application, résumé, and any supporting materials.
• Submit only content you have the right to share and not impersonate any other person or entity.
• Use the Job Board only for genuine job-seeking purposes and in an acceptable, lawful manner.
• Not upload malicious files, spam, or content that infringes the rights of others.

4. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Job Board, you must not:

• Post fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful job listings, or listings that require payment from applicants.
• Harvest, scrape, or collect data about other users without authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Job Board or its infrastructure.
• Use the Job Board to distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited communications.
• Discriminate, harass, or retaliate against any user in violation of applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Job Board, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Scott Apps or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain rights in the content you submit, but you grant Scott Apps a limited license to host, display, and process that content as necessary to operate the Job Board. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Job Board except as expressly permitted.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Job Board is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of job postings or applications, the suitability of any candidate or employer, or that the Job Board will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scott Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any hiring or employment decisions made by users. Our total liability is limited to the amount permitted under applicable law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Job Board after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
