IP Infringement & Counterfeit Reporting Policy

Last updated: February 04, 2026

We respect intellectual property rights and prohibit users from uploading, selling, or promoting infringing or counterfeit content via our tools (e.g., invoices, inventory, bookings). Third parties (rights holders) may report suspected violations. This policy outlines our end-to-end process for handling reports. For copyright-specific claims, see our Copyright & IP Policy.

End-to-End Reporting Process

  1. Submission: Submit reports via email to jfeliciano@scottapplications.com with the subject "IP Infringement Report". Use the template below or provide equivalent details. Include evidence (e.g., screenshots, links).
  2. Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt within 3-5 business days and may request additional information.
  3. Review: Our team investigates by verifying the claim against user content, applicable laws (e.g., DMCA for copyrights), and our Terms. This may take 5-10 business days.
  4. Action: If valid, we notify the user, remove infringing content, issue warnings, suspend/terminate accounts, or preserve records for legal purposes. For counterfeits, we may report to authorities.
  5. Resolution/Appeal: Users can appeal via counter-notification (provide evidence of legitimacy). We notify both parties of outcomes. Repeat offenders face permanent bans.
  6. Record-Keeping: All reports and actions are logged for compliance and audits.

We act in good faith but are not liable for user content. This process aligns with our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
