Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

The Service is intended for legitimate business purposes, such as invoicing, client management, hiring, and inventory tracking. You may use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and Our Terms of Service.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Violating any laws, regulations, or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices, such as phishing, scams, or unauthorized financial transactions.
• Creating or distributing child sexual abuse material or engaging in child exploitation.
• Promoting or facilitating violent crimes, terrorism, or hate speech.
• Social engineering attacks, including forging documents or hacking systems.
• Producing, distributing, or using illegal weapons, explosives, or controlled substances (including DEA Schedule I drugs). Cannabis, marijuana, and cannabis storefronts are prohibited.
• Damaging or disrupting critical infrastructure (e.g., healthcare, power grids) or conducting cyber attacks like ransomware or DDoS.
• Creating or planning chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons.
• Spamming, transmitting malware, viruses, or unauthorized data collection.
• Impersonating others, harassing users, or invading privacy.
• Any activity prohibited by Our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal), including their restricted businesses lists (e.g., adult content, gambling without approval, counterfeit goods).

Payment processing

Sellers connect their own Stripe and PayPal accounts. Scott Apps is not a bank, money transmitter, marketplace, or payment facilitator. Invoice funds settle to the seller. Collecting for another person or business is prohibited.

You may not use payment rails on the Service for:

• Illegal products or services
• Adult content and services
• Cannabis, marijuana, and cannabis storefronts
• Gambling or prize contests
• Weapons or firearms
• Crypto, NFTs, in-game currency, stored value, or gift-card resale
• Money transmission, wallets, check cashing, or bill-pay
• Debt relief or credit repair
• MLM or get-rich-quick schemes
• Counterfeit goods
• Activity involving sanctions jurisdictions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk)

Compliance and Enforcement

We may monitor usage, investigate violations, suspend Your Account, disable payment rails immediately, and report to processors or authorities as required. You agree to cooperate with investigations.

Changes to This Policy
